City Palace Udaipur-
City Palace is one of the best place in Udaipur. Palace is located on the east side of Lake Pichola. it’s worth admiring for its natural settings that offer a breathtaking view of the surroundings. This palace was constructed by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559.
This is regarded as the largest royal complex in Rajasthan and comprises a museum, garden, and many historical buildings. The City Palace has three parts- the first is the City Palace Museum which is open to the public,
The second is the Heritage hotel within, and the third is where the Mewar Royal family still lives. The interiors of the palace complex with its balconies, towers, and cupolas exhibit delicate mirror work, marble work, murals, wall paintings, silver work, inlay work, and leftover colored glass.
The main gate of the City Palace is called Badi Pol and the main entrance to the museum is through the main old town street leading to Jagdish Mandir. There is an alternate entrance from the South side also.

It is a major tourist attraction which is also known as the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called the temple of Jagdish Ji. Pichola Lake is a highly popular tourist destination in Udaipur. This lake is an artificial lake that sits right in the middle of Udaipur, built in the year of 1362 AD. Fateh Sagar Lake Udaipur
The lake lies north of Lake Pichola and is connected to Pichola Lake and Rang Sagar Lake by a water canal. This is an artificial lake, it was constructed by Maharana Jai Singh in 1678 AD. The Ram Pratap Palace, a residential place of the royal families is also situated on the banks of Fateh Sagar.
The lake extends to a length of 2.4 km, 1.6 km. in width, and deep to an extent of 11.5 meters. During the monsoons, the lake covers a total area of around 1 sq km.
When you travel around Fateh Sagar Lake, it is also easy to witness the beauty of Water Palace and Lake Palace. There are three small islands situated amidst the lake-
- Nehru Park is the largest of all the islands and is a popular garden with a restaurant and a zoo. The Nehru Park can access with the help of motor water boats.

Lake is open for the general public or travelers from 8 am to 6 pm. Morning and evening time the best times to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere to avoid extreme heat. Boat rides at Fateh Sagar lake are only available till 4:30 pm.
Visitors can hire pedal boats or motor boats from the base of Moti Magri Hill and enjoy scenic rides on the lake.
The entry fee for Fateh Sagar lake is Rs 30 per person.
Tourists can take boats or cruises to float on the beautiful lake. Motor Boat Charges for 30 minutes rides are –

The Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal is a cultural organization located in Udaipur. It was founded in 1952 by Padma Shri Mohanlal Vyas and is dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional arts and crafts of Rajasthan. It started to encourage rich local arts and crafts of the Mewar region of Rajasthan. The local handicrafts and things of the art of the Mewar region are world-famous and attracted lots of tourism.

Sajjangarh Fort was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh and after him, this fort was named Sajjan Singh Fort. This fort is situated 10 km away from Udaipur on the hills of Bandara. It is a very beautiful tourist place in Udaipur, it is made of marble stone.
